The Makita DTW285 18V Cordless Impact Wrench is suitable for scaffolding applications. It has a male, 1/2″ square drive nose to take impact sockets. The brushless DC motor is maintenance-free and highly efficient. Brushless motors greatly increase the run time from a given battery charge compared to a standard brush motor. When loosening stubborn bolts/nuts, putting the wrench in reverse and pulling the trigger fully engages the reverse rotation auto-stop mode. This develops up to 400Nm of nut-busting power. When the bolt/nut becomes loose, the tool stops the impact and rotation in 0.2 seconds. The DTW285 has a 3-speed gearbox and a variable speed trigger. With 280Nm of torque available, it is capable of driving standard bolts up to M20. It features a compact design with overall front to back length of 147mm. An electronic brake prevents overruns and an LED job light illuminates your work area.

This unit is supplied as body only, without batteries or charger.
