This Axminster Workshop spokeshave features a curved sole. The 151C is designed for work involving concave curves. Producing, cutting or refining internal curves. The body is ductile cast iron with a tough enamel finish.

Our 151C spokeshave is based on an original first produced around 1913. The well rounded handles and thumb rests offer comfort and control when cutting. Twin knurled adjusting screws control both depth and lateral adjustment of the 54mm wide blade. This adjustment allows a very fine setting for delicate work. The blade is made from O1 steel, to ensure good edge retention and only requires honing before use.
